Egypt's digital exports reach $7.4 billion in 2025, cabinet report shows

The Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center released a report on Egypt's digital transformation, citing sector growth, higher investment, and rising digital exports.

• The Center's report said Egypt's digital exports reached 7.4 billion dollars in 2025.
• The report put the communications and IT sector's real growth at 13.76 percent in fiscal 2024/2025, up from 8.43 percent in 2013/2014.
• Public investment in the sector rose from 0.75 billion pounds in 2013/2014 to 27.69 billion pounds in 2024/2025, the report stated.
• The report said Egypt's digital transformation is shifting from building infrastructure and providing services toward expanding actual use of digital government services.
