- Police found a ninth woman's body wrapped in a sheet on a roadside in Dawn Park, Kempton Park, on Thursday, and imposed a lockdown in the area.
- The nine victims, women in their 20s and 30s, were found across Ekurhuleni since July, several partially clothed and with injuries.
- Gauteng police commissioner Fred Kekana said investigators are considering all possibilities, including multiple suspects, and that it is too early to connect the deaths to a serial killer.
