Investigation Reveals Jusoor News as Israeli Intelligence Front

An investigation by +972 Magazine has found that the Palestinian news platform Jusoor News operates as a front for an Israeli intelligence campaign.

• The investigation documented that in May 2024 a senior editor at Jusoor News requested video footage from a local activist to counter famine reports in Gaza.
• The report stated that Jusoor News crews were given unrestricted access to Israeli-controlled areas in Gaza where journalists were banned, such as east Rafah.
• The investigation cited leaks showing meetings in Cyprus between Israeli intelligence officials, an American named Joseph Braud, and Arab journalists to produce content supporting the Israeli narrative.
• Journalist Amin al-Mughrabi, a co-author of the investigation, said that Jusoor News has a direct line with Israeli intelligence.
