Egypt's weather authority warns of dense fog, thundery rain and dust winds

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority warned of dense fog, thundery rain and dust-raising winds as night temperatures drop sharply.

• The authority forecast light thundery rain on parts of central and south Sinai and the Red Sea governorate, with up to a 30% chance of occurrence.
• Forecaster Manar Ghanem advised citizens to wear light winter clothing at night and early morning as day-night temperature differences reach 10–15°C.
• The authority warned of dense fog from 4 to 8 a.m. reducing visibility on agricultural and highway roads near water bodies.
• Ghanem said the seasonal Indian depression keeps rain chances concentrated on northern coasts, South Sinai, and Halayeb and Shalateen.
