The Interior Ministry has disclosed the circumstances of a video circulating on social media showing a man threatening his wife and brother-in-law with a knife in Suez.

• The ministry investigated and identified the man as a company employee living in the Ataka police district.
• The man attempted to evict his wife and her brother from their home and threatened them with a knife during a family dispute on July 11.
• Police arrested the man and seized the knife; he confessed to the assault.
• Legal procedures have been initiated against the suspect.
