Three brothers sentenced to death for murder of a young man in Minya village

The Minya Criminal Court has issued a death sentence against three brothers convicted of killing a young man in the Maghagha district of Minya governorate.

• The court, presided over by Judge Salah al-Shirbini, sentenced the three defendants to death in case No. 5649 of 2026.
• The prosecution charged the brothers with premeditated murder with intent and prior planning, and the first defendant with possessing an unlicensed white weapon.
• Investigations stated the victim was lured to a side road near a bridge in his village, where the first defendant stabbed him with a knife while his two brothers stood by to support him.
