Egypt to disburse 3,000 Egyptian pounds per irregular worker in second and third grant installments

The Ministry of Labor will begin disbursing the second and third installments of an exceptional grant to irregular workers on Thursday.

• Minister of Labor Hassan Raddad announced the disbursement will start at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, via post offices nationwide using the national ID card.
• Raddad stated the total value is 737.715 million Egyptian pounds, benefiting 245,905 workers across 27 governorates, each receiving 3,000 pounds (1,500 per installment).
• The disbursement implements directives from President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi announced during the Labor Day celebration; the first installment was disbursed after that event.
• Raddad said the funds come from the central social and health care account for irregular workers after data verification by the central administration.
