The Justice Ministry and Commercial International Bank have signed a protocol to open notarization offices inside the bank's branches, a first for a private Egyptian bank.
- Justice Minister Mahmoud Helmy El-Sherif and CIB CEO Hisham Ezz El-Arab signed the protocol on Monday, with Central Bank deputy governor Mohamed Shaaban attending.
- CIB said it is the first private bank in Egypt's banking sector to offer notarization services through its branches.
- The protocol lets clients complete banking transactions and related notarization procedures, including car and real estate sales, in one location.
- El-Sherif said the partnership extends the ministry's experience in delivering notarization services within the banking sector.
