Egypt's unified government complaints system has responded to a young man's appeal over his mother's heart condition, arranging her treatment at a Damanhour institute.
- The complaints system team monitored a circulated Facebook video in which a young man appealed for help for his mother, hospitalized with a heart artery blockage pending cardiac catheterization.
- After contacting the Beheira Health Directorate, the system said the woman was admitted to the National Medical Institute in Damanhour on September 13, 2026, with a complete right coronary artery blockage.
- Doctors gave her medication to dissolve the blockage, then performed a primary therapeutic catheterization of the right artery and inserted a balloon to widen it.
- She was placed on a treatment protocol and remains under follow-up in an internal department.
