(opens the publisher’s site)Egypt's Ministry of Social Solidarity will begin disbursing October's Takaful and Karama cash support on Thursday, October 15, through bank ATMs nationwide.
- The disbursement starts Oct. 15 via bank ATMs across the republic, with cards also usable for electronic payments and government transactions.
- The program covers about 4.7 million families, nearly 18 million citizens, under an annual budget of roughly 54 billion Egyptian pounds.
- Beneficiaries can check their card status by entering their national ID number on the ministry's official website.
- Inquiries and complaints are handled through the ministry's hotline 19680.
- The ministry said October's support will also be disbursed through post offices, e-wallets, and Meeza cards, alongside bank ATMs.
