Egypt conducts field campaigns to steer 10th of Ramadan factories toward green industry

Egypt's Ministry of Local Development and Environment launched field campaigns at industrial and pharmaceutical facilities in 10th of Ramadan City to advance the green industry transition.
- The ministry's field teams visited industrial facilities and pharmaceutical companies to assess environmental conditions and identify improvement opportunities.
- Minister Manal Awad said the ministry is implementing an integrated plan to develop environmental management systems and cut polluting emissions.
- Technical teams supported facilities in registering on the Unified Environmental Registry website and explained data-entry mechanisms.
- Officials held informational meetings with facility managers on financing packages, including incentives from the Sustainable Green Industry (GSI) project.
