(opens the publisher’s site)The Egyptian Drug Authority has warned against four social media ads for unregistered weight-loss products, urging citizens to verify drug registration before use.
- The authority recorded violation codes C623/26 through C626/26 for ads for Retatrutide, Lily A-Lock, and Slim Cut Shot on Instagram accounts egyptpeptides, lily_clinic_, and wellness_oasis_clinics.
- Assistant head Yassin Rajai said Slim Cut Shot, promoted by blogger Ali Ghazlan, is unregistered and unlicensed, warning against obtaining medicines from unlicensed sources.
- The authority urged citizens to report violations via hotline 15301 or a QR code and to verify product registration through official channels.
