A new iOS app called Reelful uses artificial intelligence to convert photos and video clips into polished social media videos for platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
- Reelful, founded by former Snapchat machine learning engineer Kate Deyneka, has launched on iOS with the ability to turn camera roll content into short-form videos via a text prompt and a 30-second voice sample.
- Deyneka said the app is designed for founders and business owners who need to consistently create content but lack time for manual video editing.
- Users can refine the AI-generated videos by chatting with the app to swap music, revise scripts, or adjust other elements; AI-generated clips include a watermark.
- Reelful offers one-time purchases (e.g., five videos for $15) and monthly subscriptions ranging from $25 for 10 videos to $100 for 60 videos.
