The number of fixed broadband internet subscriptions in Egypt increased by 1.09 million in the first quarter of 2026, reaching 12.95 million.
- Data from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology showed fixed broadband subscriptions reached 12.95 million by end of March 2026, up from 11.87 million a year earlier.
- The subscriptions recorded a 9% annual growth rate in the first quarter of 2026.
- The quarterly growth rate stood at 1.79%, according to the ministry's indicators.
