Egypt's Ministry of Social Solidarity has concluded a training program for social field workers, with 3,220 participants from seven governorates.
- The second phase drew 3,220 women across eight training camps in Alexandria held over 24 days.
- Training covered Social Security Law No. 12 of 2025, economic empowerment, violence against women, anti-trafficking, and first aid.
- The program was implemented with the UN Development Programme and European Union support to strengthen the ministry's capacities.
- Hanan Mostafa, head of the ministry's Family and Women's Affairs administration, said the training strengthens field workers' guidance of families toward protection and empowerment services.
