London's Southwark Crown Court has heard testimony from Russell Brand's former assistant about his alleged sexual behaviour as trial on charges spanning 1999 to 2009 continues.
- Southwark Crown Court on Monday read prosecution witness statements, including a May 2024 police statement from Brand's former personal assistant Helen Berger.
- Brand, 51, denies three rape charges, three sexual assaults and one indecent assault against six women.
- Berger said Brand had an "insane sexual appetite," asked her to collect female fans' phone numbers, and that sex often left him depressed.
- A witness statement alleged Brand's associates told a Channel 4 employee she must massage him or that day's recording would not continue.
