Egypt's PM reviews bread and food commodity support systems with supply minister

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has met Supply Minister Sherif Farouk to review Egypt's subsidized bread and food commodity systems and the country's strategic stocks.

• Madbouly met Farouk in the presence of senior supply officials, including General Authority for Supply Commodities Deputy Head Mustafa Ismail, to follow up on the ministry's work files.
• Madbouly said the subsidized bread system is operating regularly, with flour available to bakeries to ensure continued production and distribution to citizens.
• Madbouly stressed the importance of daily follow-up on the system and the immediate handling of any disruption.
