Juan Pizera travels to UAE for medical ahead of Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai move

Zamalek forward Juan Pizera has flown to the United Arab Emirates to complete a medical, with a transfer to Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai agreed pending the results.

• Pizera arrived in the UAE on Wednesday for a medical, after Zamalek and Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai reached an agreement on the transfer.
• The Brazilian has been absent from Zamalek since last season ended, having refused to join the club's preseason training camp.
• In a statement, Pizera demanded that Zamalek approve his departure, saying the club had promised to sell him once a suitable offer arrived.
• Zamalek had initially ordered him to return to Cairo and rejoin training, and he later apologized to fans while again requesting permission to leave for the UAE league.
