Borussia Dortmund extends Niko Kovač's contract until 2029

Borussia Dortmund has extended head coach Niko Kovač's contract through 30 June 2029, the club announced Tuesday.
- Dortmund announced the contract extension for Kovač, in charge since January 2025, until 30 June 2029.
- Assistant coaches Robert Kovač and Filip Tapalović also had their contracts extended.
- Sporting director Lars Ricken said the extension signals the club's commitment to continuity and stability.
- Kovač said the team has built foundations for the future and will not rest on what it has achieved.
