Israeli strike kills Palestinian in Khan Younis as Gaza toll nears 74,000

An Israeli drone strike killed a Palestinian and wounded others in Khan Younis on Monday as Gaza medical sources raised the death toll to 73,914.

• An Israeli drone strike on the al-Sikka area of central Khan Younis killed one Palestinian and wounded several others on Monday evening.
• Nasser Medical Complex received one martyr and a number of wounded following the strike, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
• Medical sources in Gaza said casualties since October 7, 2023, stand at 73,914 killed and 174,952 injured.
