Egypt agriculture minister meets industry federation to expand agricultural manufacturing

Egypt's agriculture minister met the Federation of Egyptian Industries chief to discuss boosting agricultural manufacturing and expanding productive village models across rural areas.

• Farouk and federation head Mohamed El-Suweidi met with Deputy Agriculture Minister Mustafa El-Sayyad and other ministry and federation officials.
• Farouk said the ministry aims to link small farmers to major markets and retail chains to ensure their products sell at fair prices.
• Farouk said the state will continue offering incentives to agricultural manufacturing investors to reduce crop losses and boost exports.
• El-Suweidi said the federation is ready to operate small and medium industrial complexes in productive villages and run export-standard processing training.
