Chicken prices fall, egg prices diverge in Egypt's markets on July 14

Average prices for live chicken declined while egg carton prices rose, according to data from the Cabinet's price portal.

• The average price per kilo of chicken reached 98.82 Egyptian pounds, down 3.48 pounds from the previous day.
• Prices for white chicken started at 77.68 pounds per kilo, while balady chicken reached up to 119.04 pounds.
• The average price of a carton of eggs (all types) rose to 102.96 pounds, an increase of 2.35 pounds.
• The average price of a carton of balady eggs fell to 120.34 pounds, a drop of 4.58 pounds.
