Egypt's supply minister advances digital platform for consumer goods project

Supply Minister Sharif Farouk met technology officials to develop a national digital platform for consumer goods under the Cari On project.

• Farouk met with Advances Telecom officials to discuss technological solutions for the national Cari On project and a dedicated consumer goods platform.
• The platform aims to link suppliers, outlets, and citizens, reducing intermediary links and speeding product distribution, the ministry said.
• The platform will be rolled out in phases across selected governorates based on operational readiness and project needs.
• The meeting affirmed the importance of employing modern technology to develop the project in line with Egypt's digital transformation direction.
