French footballer Michael Olise deleted his Instagram photos and posted blurry images, sparking speculation, later revealed as a deliberate artistic project.
- Olise deleted all photos from his Instagram account and posted new blurry, low-quality images from the World Cup, prompting over 100,000 comments from followers.
- Photographer Florence Berny denied rumors that she was the source, stating she had not sought FIFA accreditation and was not Olise's photographer.
- Spanish newspaper Marca reported that German photographer Lucas Kurschmann created the blurry project inspired by a 1972 series by Belgian photographer Harry Gruyaert.
- Kurschmann, who has worked with brands such as Adidas, Nike, Apple, and Mercedes-Benz, produced the visual project, and Olise embraced the idea.
