Gilmour central as Pocognoli's Scotland debut ends goalless in Slovenia

Sébastien Pocognoli's debut as Scotland head coach ended in a goalless draw away to Slovenia in the Nations League.

• Pocognoli's first match ended 0-0 in Slovenia on Saturday, where Gilmour excelled in the second half.
• Gilmour missed the World Cup through a knee injury sustained against Curacao and followed the squad as a supporter in Miami.
• Pocognoli said he wants Gilmour to enjoy his football with a smile, recalling the midfielder's form at Brighton.
• Pocognoli warned that players not featuring regularly for their clubs will find it increasingly difficult to win places in his squads.
