- Ukraine’s unmanned systems commander Robert Brovdi said at least 36 ships were hit and set on fire in the Sea of Azov between 6 and 9 July, most of them commercial oil tankers.
- A fire broke out in an industrial area in Stavropol after a Ukrainian drone attack, Governor Vladimir Vladimirov announced, with no casualties reported.
- Acting mayor Regina Kharchenko told the BBC that Russian drones and bombs have hit buses, schools, and residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia in recent weeks.
- A video circulating online showed a Russian soldier losing control of a heavy anti-drone machine gun, which spun and threw him to the ground.
