Leeds United managing director Robbie Evans said the club and manager Daniel Farke are "on the same page" over a new contract for the German, who is in the final year of his deal.
- Evans said the two sides have held "really good chats" over the past three months and that he is "not worried" about the timeline for agreeing terms.
- "The short answer is that he's done great, we want him to be here long-term and we're working on it," Evans said.
- Farke has taken five points from three league games this campaign after guiding Leeds to a 14th-placed Premier League finish and an FA Cup semi-final last season.
- Evans said the club was "thankful" it only needed to sell one player — Pascal Struijk to Brighton for a reported £20m on 30 June — to meet profit and sustainability rules.
