Port Said education director orders probe into closed kindergarten training center

Port Said's education director has referred the closure of a kindergarten teacher-training center to investigation and ordered obstacles to its reopening removed.

• Mahmoud Badawi, director of Port Said's education directorate, referred the closed center's file to investigation during a Sunday inspection tour.
• Officials found the Al-Zohour kindergarten training center closed and unused for its training role.
• Badawi ordered obstacles to the center's operation removed and emphasized its role in raising kindergarten teachers' competence.
• He also inspected the Shahid Ahmed Fawzi preparatory boys school, which has 13 classes and 587 students.
