(opens the publisher’s site)ASO has unveiled the full 2027 Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes routes, with both races opening with stages across the United Kingdom.
- ASO unveiled both routes in Paris on Thursday, marking the first time the men's and women's races open in the same nation outside France.
- The men's race starts in Edinburgh on 2 July, the northernmost start in Tour history, before stages through England and Wales.
- The women's race begins in Leeds on 30 July and culminates at the Puy de Dôme, featuring the race's first-ever team time trial in London.
- Race director Christian Prudhomme said it is the first time the Tour will link the Tourmalet and Col du Portet climbs in the Pyrenees.
- The team time trial in London will span 18 kilometers on 1 August, finishing on the Mall.
