Egypt's Supreme Council for Media Regulation has taken measures over media coverage of the private life of national team coach Hossam Hassan's family.
- The council, chaired by Khaled Abdel Aziz, decided to summon the legal representatives of Al-Nahar, Al-Shams, and Modern MTA channels for hearings over their coverage.
- The council cited the channels' treatment of private, personal, and family details as a violation of professional media codes and standards.
- The council said the measures fall within its constitutional and legal responsibility to uphold media ethics and preserve the sanctity of private life.
