Egypt opens registration for nursery caregivers' trainer program

Egypt's Ministry of Social Solidarity has opened registration for a trainer-of-trainers program for nursery caregivers, in partnership with Japan's JICA.

• Minister Maya Morsi announced the opening of registration under the early childhood quality improvement project, with training offered free of charge.
• The program targets the governorates of Port Said, Sharqia, Damietta, Matrouh, Gharbia, and South Sinai.
• The ministry said applicants must hold a higher education qualification, be 55 or younger, and applicants from individual nurseries must have their nurseries charge no more than 1,500 pounds monthly.
• Registration remains open for one week through an electronic application form.
