Spotify has expanded its Managed Accounts feature for children to users on its free tier, covering the U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, and the Netherlands.
- Managed Accounts allow parents to block explicit songs, disable video playback, and limit interactive features by default.
- Children can create their own playlists and receive personalized recommendations without affecting their parent's algorithm.
- The feature was previously available only to paid Family Plan subscribers since its 2024 launch.
- Spotify said it plans to bring Managed Accounts to additional countries in the future.
