Egypt PM chairs meeting to prepare national media conference in December

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly chaired a meeting with media officials to follow up on presidential directives and review proposed axes for a national media conference.

• Madbouly chaired a meeting attended by Minister of State for Information Diaa Rashwan and heads of media authorities to discuss implementation of presidential directives on media.
• Rashwan presented the proposed main axes for the national media conference, scheduled for December.
• The proposed axes include economic and financial aspects, information availability, responsible free media, and professional issues.
• The ministry has completed studying recommendations of the media development committee and prepared a preliminary implementation timeframe.
