The Hind Rajab Foundation filed an urgent request with the US Department of Justice to arrest Israeli officer Sean Glass on war crimes and genocide charges.
- The foundation accuses Glass of ordering a tank to fire on the vehicle carrying five-year-old Hind Rajab and her family in Gaza City.
- The foundation also accuses Glass of targeting a Palestine Red Crescent ambulance sent to rescue them.
- US Representative Rashida Tlaib said the US government is legally obligated to arrest and investigate Glass as a party to the Genocide Convention and Geneva Conventions.
- The foundation says the accusations fall under US war crimes law (Title 18, section 2441) and US genocide law (section 1091).
