Alexandria businessmen, Swedish ambassador discuss new partnerships

The Alexandria Businessmen Association hosted Swedish Ambassador Dag Julin Denfelt to discuss trade cooperation and new partnerships.

• The association, led by deputy chairman Haitham El-Qayyar, hosted Ambassador Denfelt and his delegation at its headquarters.
• El-Qayyar said the meeting aims to strengthen partnership opportunities and organize B2B meetings, citing the VTEC and MEDC projects.
• Denfelt said Sweden is encouraging companies to operate in Alexandria and called for cooperation in water, innovation, AI, energy, and logistics.
• Swedish trade counselor Michael Stol invited the association to organize bilateral meetings between Swedish and Egyptian business representatives.
