Israeli Settlers Poison Palestinian Farmer’s Well Near Ramallah

Settlers have poisoned a water well and destroyed agricultural infrastructure in a series of attacks on Palestinian land west of Ramallah.

• Palestinian farmer Saber Othman reported that in early July, settlers broke the lock of his well, used it for swimming, and later returned to poison it with a deadly substance, forcing the well to be drained.
• The settlers returned the next day and poured fertilizer barrels, destroyed stone terraces, uprooted fencing, smashed solar panels, and stole agricultural equipment.
• Beit Ur al-Tahta mayor Khaled Suleiman stated that the settlement outpost "Oz Tzur" is expanding on the village's lands and that daily attacks aim to undermine Palestinian presence.
• Amir Daoud from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority stated that about 50 Palestinian water wells have been demolished since early 2024 and called for international sanctions on settlers.
