Egyptian Meteorological Authority warns of thunderstorms and fog on Friday

Egypt's Meteorological Authority forecasts hot autumn weather Friday with fog, light rain and possible thunderstorms across northern and southern regions.

• The Meteorological Authority forecast hot autumn weather in the north, very hot conditions in south Upper Egypt, and cooler nights.
• The authority warned of dense fog from 4:00 to 8:00 am on roads in Greater Cairo, north Upper Egypt, canal cities and central Sinai.
• It forecast a 30% chance of light rain on northwest coasts and north delta, with possible evening thunderstorms over Upper Egypt and Sinai.
• The authority cautioned thunderclouds could bring strong dust-raising winds and lightning, with wind activity expected across most regions.
