Israeli Secret Plan to Overthrow Iranian Regime Revealed, Abandoned

Israeli media have revealed a secret Mossad plan, codenamed "Puss in Boots", to overthrow the Iranian regime that was abandoned before execution.

• The plan called for Israeli strikes on IRGC positions in Iranian Kurdistan to open a corridor for Kurdish fighters to enter Iran and spark a wider uprising.
• Israel and the US struck Iranian security forces in northwestern Iran at the start of the war, targeting IRGC positions and Basij sites to facilitate the Kurdish advance.
• The plan was abandoned after details leaked to media, pressure from Turkey, and Kurdish hesitation, according to Israel's Channel 13.
• The New York Times reported that Israel recruited former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, moving him to a secret hideout after an airstrike, and that Iran's IRGC later placed him under house arrest.
