Cairo Appeals Chief Honours Judicial Figures, Commemorates Deceased Advisors

Judge Magdy Ali Qassem Salama hosted a ceremony on Wednesday honouring judges who completed their service and commemorating deceased advisors.

• Salama, head of the Cairo Court of Appeal and of the Appeals Court Heads Council, held the ceremony on 21 October 2026.
• The event recognised former judges whose careers ended and advisors who died, in tribute to their professional service.
• The ceremony closed with participants voicing pride in Egypt's judicial history and vowing to continue upholding justice and rights.
