Egyptian defense minister inspects military academy admission exams

Egyptian Defense Minister Ashraf Salem Zaher has inspected admission selection for the Egyptian Military Academy and military colleges, accompanied by Chief of Staff Ahmed Khalifa.

• Zaher toured the academy with Khalifa and armed forces commanders during the September 22 visit to review candidate selection procedures.
• He passed through medical, physical fitness, swimming, confidence-jump, and psychological testing committees run on an electronic evaluation system.
• Zaher stated the only admission criterion is an applicant's own abilities, advising applicants to ignore rumors of mediation and nepotism.
• He discussed testing procedures with applicants and urged them to strive for the highest scores.
