Zamalek two steps from CAF Champions League return

Zamalek must settle two outstanding financial dues by July 25 to obtain its African license for the new season.

• Zamalek must pay over $1.7 million in overdue dues to Senegalese player Ibrahim Ndaye.
• Zamalek must also pay €1.8 million to Ukrainian club Oleksandria for the transfer of player Juan Alfina.
• CAF has set a July 25 deadline for clubs to regularize their status for continental competitions.
• Zamalek has reduced its pending financial cases to seven after settling several earlier debts.
