Voters go to the polls Thursday in the by-election for Keir Starmer's former Holborn and St Pancras seat, where housing, threatened green space and Gaza dominate campaigning.
- Fifteen candidates are contesting Holborn and St Pancras, which Labour has held since 1983, including Green leader Zack Polanski.
- HS2 cost-cutting has dropped a promised replacement park, with 14,404 square metres of green space and playgrounds lost permanently at Euston.
- Polanski said Labour apologised over Gaza while continuing arms sales to Israel, and that his party supports a full boycott.
- Lendlease said its Euston plan could deliver up to 1,500 homes, including affordable ones, though final numbers are undetermined.
