Man admits drugging and raping wife for over 20 years

A British man has pleaded guilty to 60 offences — including rape — committed against his wife over a 20-year period.

• The husband, who cannot be named to protect his wife's anonymity, admitted 60 counts including 21 counts of rape and sharing intimate images at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court.
• He pleaded guilty to 15 charges in June and admitted the remaining 45 counts on Monday.
• Twelve other men deny serious sexual offences against the same woman, while a 13th man has previously admitted sexual offences against her.
• The offences against the wife date back to 2004, while accusations involving the other men span September 2018 to November 2025; the husband will be sentenced at the conclusion of the trial.
