Zamalek board convenes to decide sporting director pick and Mansi disciplinary case

Zamalek's board of directors met Thursday evening at club headquarters to vote on a new sporting director and rule on striker Nasser Mansi's case.

• The board opened its meeting Thursday evening after the session was postponed from the previous Sunday.
• The agenda included a vote on appointing Hossam El-Zanaty as the club's sporting director.
• The board reviewed Mansi's case after he was referred to investigation and suspended from training over his celebration in the first leg against APR Rwanda.
• Board members Ahmed Khaled Hassanein and Hussein El-Sayed were absent from the session.
