Voting in Israel's 26th Knesset election proceeded Tuesday as Netanyahu warned of Arab voter fraud and Arab parties accused him of incitement.
- Netanyahu posted on X that Palestinian citizens were "raiding the polling stations and stealing the elections" and urged right-wing Israelis to vote for Likud.
- United Arab List leader Mansour Abbas called the posts "a scare tactic to mobilise right-wing voters"; Joint List leader Yousef Jabareen accused Netanyahu of incitement.
- The Joint Arab List said police seized ballot boxes and blocked voters in Ar'ara in the Negev, and that the photo Netanyahu shared was AI-generated.
- The election committee said turnout reached 31.5% in the first five hours, the highest at that stage in about 50 years.
- Platform X added a correction notice to Netanyahu's post, confirming the image of Arab voters was fake and originally published in February.
- Turnout reached 74.3% by 8 PM, the highest Israeli rate since 1988, according to the elections committee.
- Arab party leaders cited the detention of three officials with cash-filled envelopes as an isolated case, while Ben-Gvir urged Israelis to counter the 'crazy' Arab turnout.
