A Cairo court has deferred judgment to October 25 in a lawyer's lawsuit against Mohamed Salah over unpaid legal fees.
- Salah, captain of Egypt and player at Trabzonspor, was absent from Sunday's hearing at the Cairo court.
- The court had ordered Salah to appear in person to take a decisive oath; his failure would legally deem him to have refused it.
- Lawyer Amr Farag filed the suit demanding fees for legal services he said he provided to Salah.
- Farag also seeks compensation for alleged material, moral and professional damages, citing a power of attorney dating from July 2012.
