A British court jailed former army chef Mark Broadhurst for three years and ten months for terror-related weapons offences.
- Broadhurst, 28, was sentenced Wednesday at Sheffield Crown Court following his arrest at a military barracks in September 2024.
- Police found knives, crossbows, black powder, 9mm ammunition and an improvised homemade cannon at his home.
- A judge ruled his offences were connected to terrorism after he pleaded guilty to firearm and explosive possession, denying the weapons were for terrorist purposes.
- Broadhurst belonged to a Telegram group with three men jailed last year for planning an attack on mosques or a synagogue as part of a believed "race war."
