(opens the publisher’s site)Al Ahly is finalizing player futures and pursuing new signings ahead of a pre-season camp in Spain later this month.
- Three clubs — Al Masry, Al Hilal Sudan, and Al Suwayhli Libya — have requested to sign Omar El Saei; coach Hussein Amouta will decide on the player's future within days.
- Omar Kamal Abdel Wahab obtained a visa for Spain; a source said the club leans toward extending his contract rather than selling him, as his current deal expires next season.
- Amouta informed the club that Ahmed Ramadan Beckham is not needed next season, ending his loan and allowing him to return to Ceramica Cleopatra.
- Al Ahly has shortlisted three strikers — Soufiane Ben Jadda, Moncef Bakrar, and Ibrahima Diabaty — and sent an official $3 million offer for Bakrar.
Latest developments
- Al Ahly is close to finalizing the signing of Algerian striker Monsef Bakrar from Dinamo Zagreb, sports media figure Ibrahim Fayeq has reported.
- Fayeq added that negotiations are 90% complete and the deal includes €3 million plus bonuses and a sell-on clause.
