NotebookLM Launches Interactive Mind Maps for Complex Document Analysis

Google's NotebookLM has introduced a new Mind Maps feature that converts uploaded documents into interactive visual diagrams showing relationships between concepts and topics.

• Users can create mind maps by uploading files to a new notebook and selecting the Mind Map option from the AI tools menu.
• The tool automatically extracts main and sub-topics from sources, displaying them as interconnected nodes that users can click to explore details.
• Journalists can use the feature to visualize relationships between entities across dozens of documents in investigative projects.
• Students and academic researchers can use the mind maps to organize study materials and build theoretical frameworks more efficiently.
