- It forecast light rain, occasionally moderate, on Friday over the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt.
- The authority warned of morning mist on some roads from 4 to 8 a.m. and called on drivers to exercise caution.
- It said winds will be intermittently active across most of the country from Friday through Tuesday, September 22.
- Despite the overall drop, the authority said extremely hot weather will persist over Greater Cairo and inland areas.
- It said northwesterly winds over the northwestern coasts will cause dust storms inland as temperatures decline.
- The authority said extremely hot weather will continue in southern Upper Egypt during the same period.
- The authority said on Facebook that the latest satellite images show low rain-bearing clouds forming over scattered areas of Matrouh Governorate.
